WISH LIST

1.  A REAL PIANO!!!!
We have a real organ (and a nice one), so now we could use a real piano.  The Yamaha keyboard we have now was purchased in the year 2000 and has served us well.  However, it's time to move on.  We could get a good quality used baby grand piano for under $5000.00.  (Something to think about...)

NOTE:  We could acquire a small baby grand piano for under $5,000.00!  (NEW FUNDRAISING GOAL!!!)

2.  CHOIR ROBES                                                    CHECK and DONE as of Christmas 2011!!!!!

NOTE:  We have worked and worked and worked and raised money
fund the purchase of new choir vestments!  Woohoo!!!  Thank you, Nancy Cato,

3.  Choral Risers

Why?  Because eye contact is a good thing--it keeps us all *ahem* on the same page.

4.  CHOIR CHAIRS

Note the storage rack built onto the back of the chair.  We need something of this nature to help us manage all the books we juggle during a worship service. 

(This is just one idea.  The choir suggests that recliners with cup holders would be nice...)

5.  Choir Chimes                                                             CHECK and DONE as of Fall 2011!!!!!!!!

NOTE:  Thanks to the generous memorial gift from Cheryl Rothschild, we have ordered and received a 3-octave set of beautiful CHOIR CHIMES in October of 2011.  We have 8 passionate group members and have named ourselves THE ROTHSCHILD RINGERS in memoriam for Tony Rothschild, a great supporter of music at St. Gabriel's and loved by all.
